When Snowfall came out, I watched a couple eps, got turned off by what I thought were three separate storylines two of which I did not care about in the least and gave up.  I fell back in when the Big Guy and I moved in and he had me watching again right before****spoileralertforyoulateassmofos*** Andre died and then I was off to the races.  So again, I get the pacing, and The Drop: A Snowfall Saga is my man and me and Droppin In gonna stick beside him.

So we open at some point…and honestly I AM CONFUSION.  Now, I know am a Gen-X’er of a certain age who should be poppin Prevagen like yalls chillins pop pill and potions, so I likely should not be watching teevee with a phone in my hand, but here we are. Did I miss something?

Last week, after his triumphant return from the strip club, GHURTie, cuz thats what she is, took SweetBabyAngelMar™ by the hand and said it was time he knew the truth.  This episode opens with….him not learning the truth, him in different clothes, GHURTie and Big Daddy returning from somewhere – Rochelle’s grave perhaps – and the audience even further from the truth.

To make an extremely drawn out story short, Lamar knows that his mom perished in a car crash, but didnt know the circumstances – Im not sure how anyone could since the only people there died – his mom and dad got in an altercation, he choked and punched her and she stabbed him. They’d be arguing about him returning to manage her in some capacity, she balked at that, called that man “dickless” and the devil emerged.  He purposely drove his car into incoming traffic, leaving his boys to be reared by their grandparents.
