I, like Michelle Obama, am a girl of The South Side, who spent some time matriculating on the genteel shores of Eastern Virginia before heading to the A for a good, dirty-South diploma. From there, I spent some time in radio in NYC, followed by a stint in Texas politics, before eventually making my way up the ranks of Chicago media.
Basically, I’ve done a lot of things without ever becoming particularly interested in doing just one thing. I’ve followed my curiosity, chased a few careers, collected some stories, and developed a very healthy attachment to the sound of my own voice. Which brings us here.
I watch A LOT of television. Like, an unreasonable amount. I read a lot. I occasionally find myself in cool places. I pop fly shit.I have thoughts. I have opinions. I get annoyed. I get excited. And every now and then, something happens in pop culture that simply requires a rant.
